Who we are

Torren is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact: support@torrenhq.com.

This website

This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or outside fonts. Our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks, and keeps short-lived security logs.

When you buy

Link (operated by Stripe) sells the bundle on our behalf and processes your payment, billing details and tax under its own privacy policy. Your card details are never shared with us. All payment processing is done by Link/Stripe.

To deliver your purchase, Stripe passes us your email address, your name and a purchase ID. Our download page keeps:

your email address, first name and purchase IDs, so we can send your download link and send a new one if you lose it;
a record of how many times each download link was used;
scrambled (hashed) versions of network addresses and email addresses for up to 24 hours, to stop abuse of the “new link” page. The original addresses aren’t stored.

We delete purchase records about 3 years after the purchase, and expired download links shortly after they expire. The download page’s technical logs at Cloudflare, which include the pages requested, are kept for a few days. You may email our support email to request the deletion of your data. You may lose access to the download links as a result of this.

Emails

Delivery emails are sent through ZeptoMail, and support emails are handled in Zoho Mail, both run by Zoho. Zoho stores this data in the EU. We keep support emails as long as needed to answer you and deal with any follow-up, and delete them on request where we’re not required to keep them.

Our emails contain no tracking pixels and no tracked links.

Why we use your data

Delivering what you bought and helping you with it (performance of a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Keeping the website and download page secure and preventing abuse (legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Keeping records where the law requires it (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

We don’t sell your data, use it for advertising, or send you marketing emails.

Who processes it for us

Cloudflare (hosting, security, download page and database).
Zoho (sending delivery emails, support mailbox).
Stripe and Link (payment, receipts, tax, refunds), under their own policies.

Some of these companies are based in the United States. Where data leaves the EU, transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to its use. You can also ask for your data in a portable format. Email support@torrenhq.com. We’ll answer within one month. If we delete your purchase record, we can no longer send you a new download link.

You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one where you live.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
